“Working In Pure Water Factory Triggered Me To Success” – Joeboy Discloses
Nigerian musician, Joeboy revealed that he briefly worked at a sachet water factory while in university.
Naija Latest Gist reports that he noted that this occurred amidst a three-month strike led by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
In 2017, Joeboy’s talent captured the interest of Mr Eazi from the record label emPawa Africa, propelling him into prominence as a significant figure in Afro-pop and R&B genres.
Hailing from Lagos State, Joeboy’s impact on the music industry has been profound since his discovery.
During the latest episode of the Afrobeats Intelligence Podcast, Joeboy expressed how his experience at the factory fueled his determination to become a successful musician.
Joeboy said: “I studied Human Resources and Personnel Management. When I was in university, there was a strike for like three months. So I decided to get a job and I was searching for a job for like three months in the whole of Lagos. I did not get one single job.
“There was even a time I worked in a pure water factory as a marketer. At that point, I was like, ‘I am looking so hard for a job, and I cannot find any. Is this how I am going to end up when I finish school?’ So that was also a trigger. I told myself, ‘You really have to make sure you make it.”
Nigerians have started expressing concerns as music legend, Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, a.k.a King Sunny Ade, is declared missing by his daughter.
Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye, the daughter of the music icon, took to her social media page to raise the alarm as she wagged the finger of accusation at his manager and stepbrother, Dayo Adegeye.

She opined that he is being made to perform under duress.

Some of his children have raised an alarm that he is being held captive by his management who are forcing him to sign up for events that he has not been honouring.

However, the 78 year old King of music who has been performing for more than 60 years hasn’t been publicly seen in a while.
The children are now calling on the authorities to investigate and help find their father.”

TikToker Disturbing who is into Justice for Mohbad passed joins his ancestors while on a live video, clip goes viral (Watch)
A video is making the rounds across social media platforms that shows the moment a Nigerian TikToker identifed as Disturbing passed away while on a live video.
Disturbing in the trending clip who is well known for always seeeking Justice for Mohbad was seen going through a seizure before he later died.
According to some social media users, TikToker Disturbing was busy cursing mama Mohbad, Adura, Liam and WUNMI on his live stream before the incident happened.
Sharing the video, investigative journalist, Temilola Sobola wrote; “A popular Tiktoker known as Disturbing who was also into JUSTICE FOR MOHBAD passed away some hours ago while he was on a live video…….”
