Police order Bella Smhurda to report to the station in the next 48 hours following Mohbad’s passing
The spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has declared that they are eagerly awaiting Bella Shmurda’s cooperation in providing information regarding the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
According to the PPRO of police, the information that will be given to them by singer Bella Shmurda, a close friend of late rapper Mohbad, will aid their inquiry.
The police department has also asked for anyone with valuable information, particularly friends and family members of the late musician, to come forward.
Recall that Naija Latest Gist had earlier reported that notable singer Mohbad died in a controversial manner on Tuesday, September 12th at the age of 27. On Thursday, authorities announced that they had opened an investigation into the singer’s death.
The police department has also asked for anyone with valuable information, particularly friends and family members of the late musician, to come forward.
Kemi Olunloyo, a controversial self-styled investigative journalist, gave Bella Shmurda a 48-hour ultimatum on Saturday to go to the police and speak up.
“Bella Shmurda,” she wrote on her X account. I’m giving you 48 hours to report to @PoliceNG and speak with @Princemoye1 or to force CID Ikoyi.”
Adejobi, a police spokesperson, quoted her message with the comment,“I am expecting to hear from him.”

Singer Portable challenges socialite Cubana Chief Priest to N100m boxing match (Video)
Controversial Nigerian street-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred fresh drama in the entertainment scene by challenging nightlife mogul, Cubana Chief Priest, to a celebrity boxing match.
In a viral video circulating on social media, Portable declared his interest in squaring up with Chief Priest in the ring, not out of animosity, but in pursuit of money and greater fame.
The singer, who recently defeated Speed Darlington in a celebrity boxing bout, said he is now targeting “bigger” opponents to boost his earnings.
“Na money I dey look for. I wan fight for money. I want to be fighting big people, I am bigger than Chief Priest… Chief Priest, did you learn boxing? I want to fight, no be sey I get you for mind. I want to cash money, make we make money together,” Portable stated.
He also proposed a N100 million bet for the match, highlighting the financial opportunity such an event could present for both parties.
