Parasite actor, Lee Sun-kyun found dead in his car aged 48
Lee Sun-kyun – who was best known for his role as Park Dong-ik in the movie Parasite – has passed away at the age of 48.
South Korea’s emergency office shared the news on Wednesday 27 December, 2023, saying that the actor was found unconscious in a car. Lee reportedly was found at 10:30am (KST time) in his car which was parked in one of Seoul’s main parks in the Seongbuk district.
While it is currently unclear whether or not Lee took his own life, police and Yonhap news agency have reported that they received information that he had left home after writing a note found by his wife, Jeon Hye-jin. Police confirmed Lee’s identity following a search initiated by the actor’s manager, who contacted them.
Lee had been under investigation over illegal drug use since October amid an ongoing government crackdown on narcotics.
Lee’s agency, Hodu & U Entertainment, issued a statement urging members of the media to refrain from making any hurtful comments or spreading false information. “The funeral will take place privately with family members and close friends in attendance,” the statement read.
Fans have taken to social media to pay their respects.

According to Anita, she specified her waist size as medium but unfortunately, the vendor sent her a size twice as large as what she requested.
Posting videos in the oversized jeans, she cursed out the vendor when regretting not getting the outfits from a walk-in store.
