I still cry everyday and my entire being mourns for you – Wunmi speaks as she pays tribute to her late husband Mohbad
Wunmi, the wife of late Nigerian singer Mohbad has gathered the attention of netizens as she pours out her heart in a tribute message to her late husband.
It’s worth recalling that Mohbad tragically passed away on September 12th 2023, sparking numerous controversies surrounding the circumstances of his death. Many remain perplexed, still questioning the exact cause that led to his untimely demise.
Several months after his passing, Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram page, expressing the depth of her longing for him and describing the profound emptiness his absence has brought into her life. She reflected on the dreams, plans, and promises they once shared, all of which seemed to vanish with his untimely departure.
She wrote;
“The cherished husband of my youth, the loving father of our child. It still feels surreal, as if reality hasn’t fully sunk in since you departed from this world. Is it true that you’re not coming back? Is this truly the end for us and for our son Liam? All our dreams, our plans and promises sh*red in an instant. I can’t accept ever again experiencing the joy 00 our playful banter, our inside jokes, or our silly dance moves and much more
I believe you hear me when I pour out my heart to you in the quiet of the night as I sense your presence in the subtle signs around me. The nights seem colder now, and the In my heart deeper by the day than I ever thought possible. The pil sometimes feels unbearable, yet when I glance at my phone’s screensaver and sea your infectious smile. h’armth fills me, even if only temporarily.
I still cry every day, and my entire being mourns for you, my heart , soul and body yearns for you Okomi. The weight of your loss has crushed me, and I struggle to envision a path toward healing. Tonight, as with every night. rm overwhelmed by my grief, but I find solace in sharing this pain with the world! it’s a burden too heavy for me to bear alone. Nigerians have started expressing concerns as music legend, Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, a.k.a King Sunny Ade, is declared missing by his daughter.
Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye, the daughter of the music icon, took to her social media page to raise the alarm as she wagged the finger of accusation at his manager and stepbrother, Dayo Adegeye.

A video is making the rounds across social media platforms that shows the moment a Nigerian TikToker identifed as Disturbing passed away while on a live video.
Disturbing in the trending clip who is well known for always seeeking Justice for Mohbad was seen going through a seizure before he later died.
According to some social media users, TikToker Disturbing was busy cursing mama Mohbad, Adura, Liam and WUNMI on his live stream before the incident happened.
Sharing the video, investigative journalist, Temilola Sobola wrote; “A popular Tiktoker known as Disturbing who was also into JUSTICE FOR MOHBAD passed away some hours ago while he was on a live video…….”
