Funke Akindele’s movie ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ leaks on the internet (Watch)
A Tribe Called Judah is a Nigerian film that was produced in 2023 by Funke Akindele, and starring Funke Akindele, Timini Egbuson, Fathia Balogun, Jide Kene Achufusi, Uzee Usman, Yvonne Jegede, Tobi Makinde, Olumide Oworu, Genoveva Umeh, Nse Ikpe Etim, Juliana Olayode, Uzor Arukwe, and many others.
The film was released to the cinema nationwide on 15 December 2023. Akindele has said the film is dedicated to her late mother, and draws partially from her mother’s life.
This record breaking movie tells a story of a single mother, Jedidah Judah (acted by Funke Akindele), who has five sons from five different fathers from five different tribes. The first two sons are responsible and try their best to work and support their mother. Meanwhile, the last three are less helpful; Pere (acted by Timini Egbuson) is a chronic pickpocket, Shina (acted by Tobi Makinde) a hoodlum and tout in the community, and the last, Ejiro (acted by Olumide Oworu), is naughty and only cares about his girlfriend, Testimony (acted by Genoveva Umeh). Despite their bad behavior, Jedidah continues to support them and get them out of trouble.
Things took a downturn when Jedidah was diagnosed of a chronic kidney disease, needing ₦18 million to fund her operation and ₦400,000 weekly for her dialysis. The first son, Emeka, lost his job, and the five sons had no other option than to rob Emeka’s ex-boss, who is rumored to be a money launder, to get the money to save their mother’s life. However, their plans take a dramatic turn when they met armed robbers at the scene.
Not to talk much, you must not miss this extraordinary masterpiece. This movie has recorded millions of views on Netflix and by extension grossing N1billion becoming the first Nigerian movie to attain this feat.

An X user identified as @the_anitaaa took to the platform to question her decision for choosing to buy a pair of jeans online.
According to Anita, she specified her waist size as medium but unfortunately, the vendor sent her a size twice as large as what she requested.
Posting videos in the oversized jeans, she cursed out the vendor when regretting not getting the outfits from a walk-in store.
