Bobrisky Will Commit A Crime But It Is Idris That Will Suffer – Catholic priest, Kelvin Ugwu Speaks
Nigerian missionary Catholic priest, Fr. Kelvin Ugwu has shared his thoughts on the travails of popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
Recall that Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to Naira mutilation charges.
Speaking on the development via a Facebook post on Saturday, Ugwu claimed that a lot of people have Bobrisky’s personality as “what they show in public is far from who they truly are behind closed doors.”
The priest stated that Bobrisky constantly battles two personalities which he described as Mr Idris and Ms Bob.
He wrote, “Between Mr Idris and Ms Bob. On a more personal note, I can only imagine the amount of work Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju puts in on himself every single day to maintain and service the public side of him called Bobrisky.
“I bet you, some of you will not know this… I can assure you, it is a constant battle between Idris and Bob.
“For example, Idris will come out in public, but it is Bob people are seeing and hailing. Idris is controlling the body’s internal mechanisms, but na Bob dey collect the romance and glory. Idris wants to respect the brotherhood as Portable advised, but Bob says it must be the sisterhood
“And yet, Bob will commit a crime, but na Idris go suffer am.
“It is just like that ‘Esther- Establish” trend of how Esther was black and broke and later got Established when she saw money… But in Idris’ case, it became even more twisted.
“Idris was black and broke, but when Idris jam Bob, Bob-risky his existence.
“Imagine someone who does not have a pelvic girdle and yet looks all hipsy. Do you think it is a small work that is put in there?
“Or for someone who does not have bøøbs, but is all bøøbsy to the extent of winning the award of best-dressed female among real females. Do you think it is a small work?
“It is crazy the extent of stress people go through just to be something other than their real selves.
“A lot of us have this Idris-Bob’s personality, especially in character. There is an Idris side of us, and another side called Bob. What you present to us in public is far from who you truly are.
“You keep showing us Bob to attract attention or sympathy or to lure us, whereas you are Idris. To gain favour and popularity, you have dumped your Idris to embrace Bob (a life of deceit and shows), you are being hailed on social media, but you forget that being Bob is more risky… because no matter how you fake it, one day, the Idris in you will still come out for the world to see and that will be to your eternal shame.”
Legendary Nigerian singer Terry G, has asserted that it is disrespectful to compare colleague, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable with him.
Portable is known to be thestreet boy hence many have likened him to the ‘Akpako Mast
er’ due to his style and the choice of songs he does.
However, in a post via X on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Terry G issued a stern warning against comparing him with Portable, claiming that people still listen to his songs after 10 years.
He wrote: “Comparing me to Portable is disrespectful because I have music people listen to 10 years later.”
After issuing the warning on his page, a fan commented under the post explaining that many call Portable street boy because of the level of his craziness. Terry G replied the fan, “He no craze pass me”.

Portable shows off new look after being released from prison, apologizes to Saheed Osupa (Video)
Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has taken the internet by storm following his new look, making the rounds on social media.
Portable who was released yesterday following Saheed Osupa’s defamation suit shared a video on his Instagram story showing a noticeably different appearance.
It appeared that the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner had shaved his hair off, sparking widespread reactions online.
Recall that Portable was charged with intellectual property infringement and defamation by Saheed Osupa’s management. The legal action, which stemmed from alleged rights violations and public misconduct, led to his arrest by the Kwara State Police Command on Sunday, April 13th.
However, he was released on Tuesday, April 15th after Osupa paused legal actions against Portable to the surprise of many.
Apologising for his actions, he wrote, “Alhamdulilahi for everything Big Thanks to all my lovers. ZAZUU am sorry for everything. If i do you bad ninu Ogun ni ogo wa. To those people outside there wey dey pray for me beg for me una too no go fall 00o. Only God I never see ogo ni mi God sent God love me I love you all ZAZUU Ono ope mi Opor OPF OPOR FAR Sope Por.”
